MEET OUR FOUNDER
Melvin Johnson is a native Tulsan and for the last 30 years has dedicated his time and efforts to bring awareness and compassion to men dealing with domestic violence. Although a music major he always found time to commit to this great need, and has gained respect in his community for the dedication he shows for the safty and well being of displaced men. Lead by a faith driven team of volenteers and professionals, Safe Here Inc. is a beacon of hope for men battling domestic violence and childhood trauma. Our 501c3 organization provides immediate shelter and vital resources, including counseling, life skills, education, transportation, and child support advocacy. We offer confidential one-on-one support to ensure the complete healing of those we serve. Our focus on self-esteem and sustainability guides men towards healthier and fulfilling lives.
